Booking Terms & Conditions

During April-August, we have adapted our booking conditions to make you feel safe when visiting us. We are very happy that you still want to book activities and help us through this tough time. Should this period need to be extended – it will be.

Booking of an activity

To book, you must have turned 18 years old or have your guardians approval to participate in the activities. You must understand our height limits and safety regulations. When booking, a spot needs to be booked for each person who will climb, according to the length category in which they belong. All participants who are to climb must also fill in our User Conditions of Ropes Course Activities – read more under section User Conditions below.

Please note that you have no right to cancel or rebook ​when you book an activity with short notice (e.g. 2 days before your activity).

NOTE! All companies pay excluding VAT. If your booking request does not have the correct pricing, this will be adjusted before the booking is confirmed.

Cancellation and Rebooking

For bookings of 10 participants or more, cancellation or rebooking of the entire activity or individual spots must be made no later than 15 days before the set activity date. Cancellations later than 15 days before the activity will not be refunded.

For bookings of 1-9 participants, cancellation or rebooking of the entire activity or individual spots must be made no later than 5 days before the set activity date. Cancellations later than 5 days before the activity will not be refunded.

Please note that this cancellation policy also applies if you only have to change the number of participants and cancel, for example, only 2 spots.

Cancellation or rebooking must be done by email to boka@upzone.se, and you must also receive a confirmation that your cancellation has been successful. You can also call us, see our contact information and phone hours here.

If you or someone in your group gets sick

Right now, we have free rebooking to another date, even if you become sick the same day you are supposed to visit us. If you or someone you booked for shows any symptoms such as sore throat, cough or fever, you should stay at home to avoid the risk of spreading it on.

For groups of 10 participants or more, you will receive a voucher for the participant(s) who can not participate in the activity, which can be used at a later date.

For bookings of 1-9 participants, you can re-book the entire group to another date, or get a voucher for the participant(s) who cannot participate in the activity, which can be used at a late date.

If you feel the slightest signs of symptoms – stay home and call us as soon as possible and we will help you with your booking. You will find our contact details and telephone hours here.

If we need to close up our business (for example if staff show symptoms and need to stay at home or if the authorities’ recommendations are changed so we are not allowed to stay open) we will contact you as soon as possible with information. If you are unable to move your activity to another day, you will, of course, get a refund.

If the activity is cancelled due to the weather

It is still possible to climb even if it rains. Bring clothes according to the weather.

Should it begin to thunder and the weather becomes a safety issue, we may need to pause or cancel the activity. This is a decision that the staff need to make on-site the very same day. Often, we can pause the climbing, for example, 30 minutes and then continue when the thunder has passed. You will get the paused time added on to your booked time. Should we have to close completely, we will contact you as soon as we can, and you may move the activity to another day instead. If you are unable to rebook to another day, you will be repaid in the form of a gift certificate, so that you can visit us again at a later time.

Purchase of gift cards

You are responsible for ensuring that the correct information is filled in when purchasing a gift card. Incorrect deliveries or other problems caused by incorrect information, will not be refunded.

You have the right to regret your gift card purchase within 14 days from the purchase. However, the purchase can only be reimbursed as long as the gift card has not been used in any way. If you wish to regret your gift card purchase, you need to contact us by email to boka@upzone.se and receive a written confirmation.

Storage of personal data

When you make a booking or make a purchase at Upzone, you also agree that we as personal data controller register and process the information you provide in connection with the booking. To the extent necessary for us to carry out the activity and give you a high standard of customer service. You can at any time contact us at boka@upzone.se if you want to know more or retrieve the information we have stored.

We only use the information within the Upzone Franchise Group and the information is not passed on to third parties unless we are required by law to disclose the information.

Terms and conditions of payment

For bookings with 10 participants or more, payment of the entire activity must be made no later than 15 days before the date of the booked activity. If the booking is not paid for, and your party does not show up at your booked activity, you will be liable for payment and will be invoiced for the entire amount and an extra cost of SEK 50 per person.

For bookings of 1-9 people, payment for the entire activity must be made no later than 5 days before the date of the booked activity. If the booking is not paid for, and your party does not show up at your booked activity, you will be liable for payment and will be invoiced for the entire amount and an extra cost of SEK 50 per person.

If the booking is still unpaid when you visit us for your booked activity, the park has the right to charge an extra cost of SEK 50 per person for your payment.

Terms and conditions for billing

All companies have a 10-day payment terms and the invoice is sent approximately 14 days before the booked activity.

If you book within 14 days, the invoice will be sent as soon as it is made.

The booking center charges a fee of SEK 45 for each invoice that belongs to your booking

User Conditions

Safety

In the park, you are responsible for your own safety bu ensuring you are following Upzone’s rules.*

You must take part in the safety briefing and follow all the instructions that the Upzone staff give to you during the activity.

You are not allowed to have loose items in your pockets during the activity (phone, keys, wallet, etc.)

You are not allowed to wear jewellery during the activity (rings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, earrings, piercings, etc.)*

Physical and mental requirements

You are not allowed to climb if you weigh over 120 kg (265 lbs).

You are not allowed to climb if you are under the influence of alcohol.

You are not allowed to climb if you are pregnant.

We recommend that you talk to your physician if you have any medical condition or previous injury that could be affected by the activity. We want to make it possible for everyone to climb, but to ensure we can keep a high safety standard some adjustments may need to be done.

*In case of damage of property or persons, Upzone is only responsible for gross negligence from the staff. Upzone assumes no responsibility for injuries or accidents caused by non-compliance of the terms and conditions, or if the participant has left incorrect or incomplete information in the user conditions or to the Upzone staff. Upzone assumes no responsibility for valuables and personal items stored in our facilities.
